The Healthcare Professional Service (HCP) is a dedicated service providing a timely response to groups of patients who have already been clinically assessed by a GP or frontline ambulance clinician and deemed appropriate for hospital admission or assessment. The HCP Service ensures safe and holistic care for these patients.

HCP staff provide non-emergency transportation of patients to and from hospitals and other specialist units, caring for the well-being of patients and utilising clinical skills where required. There is a potential requirement to respond to frontline, emergency calls when demand is high, and applicants should be aware of this.

This is a great opportunity for caring individuals to support patients when accessing NHS treatment centres, and will give you invaluable experience and exposure to a wide variety of situations.
